Terms of Use

By installing or using this app, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. License and EULA

Your use of this app is governed by the Apple Standard End User License Agreement (Apple Standard EULA), available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/, together with these Terms of Use. The Apple Standard EULA applies by default; these Terms supplement it with app-specific provisions.

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use this app on Apple devices that you own or control, for personal or business use.

2. Free and Pro features

This app is freemium.

a. Free tier (no purchase required)

• Scan QR codes and barcodes with the camera, unlimited
• Scan QR codes from photos in your library, unlimited

b. Pro features (in-app purchase required)

• Open the Design Studio to customize QR codes (shapes, colors, eyes, gradients, logos, backgrounds, templates, Brand Kit)
• Generate barcodes (Code 128, EAN-13, UPC-A, Aztec, PDF417)
• Save QR codes or barcodes to the Library (up to 500 items per Apple ID, with FIFO replacement)
• Export and share QR codes / barcodes as PNG, SVG, or PDF
• Save QR codes / barcodes to your Photo Library
• Batch generation from a CSV file
• iCloud sync of the Library across iPhone and iPad
• Templates and Brand Kit

c. Pro plans

Subscription disclosure (Apple-required summary). The Pro tier is offered as three in-app purchases:

Prices are displayed inside the app and on the App Store at the time of purchase. Prices may vary by region as set by Apple's price tiers and local taxes.

The Monthly and Yearly subscriptions belong to the same subscription group on the App Store, so you can have at most one active subscription at any time and can switch between them via your Apple ID settings.

d. Auto-renewal and cancellation (subscriptions)

Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. Your subscription automatically renews at the same price unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage your subscription and turn off auto-renew at any time in iOS Settings → [your Apple ID] → Subscriptions.

The account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the price of the chosen plan.

e. Lifetime purchase

Lifetime is a one-time non-consumable purchase that unlocks Pro permanently for your Apple ID, including on any device signed in with that Apple ID via Family Sharing (if enabled). There is no recurring billing.

f. Refunds

Refunds for in-app purchases are issued by Apple, not by us. Request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

g. Restoring purchases

If you reinstall the app or switch to a new device, open Settings → Restore Purchases inside the app. Apple's transaction record reactivates Pro automatically. No login is required.

3. Acceptable use

You may not:

• Use the app to encode content that is unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or violates someone else's rights (e.g. phishing URLs, malware payloads, copyright-infringing material).
• Reverse-engineer the app or attempt to circumvent the Pro entitlement system.
• Use the app to create QR codes or barcodes designed to deceive scanners (e.g. spoofed product codes for retail fraud, ticket counterfeiting).

We may, but are not obligated to, remove access to features if we discover misuse, in line with Apple's app guidelines.

4. Your content

The QR codes, barcodes, designs, and Brand Kits you create with this app are yours. We claim no ownership of, license to, or interest in your content. Because we don't run servers, we don't store, transmit, or process this content beyond your own device and your own iCloud (see Privacy Policy).

5. Apple's role

This app is distributed through the App Store. Apple is not a party to these terms but is a third-party beneficiary entitled to enforce them as they relate to your use of the app on Apple devices. Some of these terms (e.g. refunds, account management) are governed by Apple's standard agreements. If a conflict exists between Apple's terms and these terms, Apple's prevail for the provisions Apple controls.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

This app is provided "as is" and "as available." While we work hard to make it reliable, we don't guarantee that:

• Every generated QR or barcode will scan in every scanning device or printing condition.
• iCloud sync will be instantaneous or available offline.
• The app will be free of bugs or interruptions.

You're responsible for verifying that codes you generate work for your use case (e.g. test-scan a poster QR before printing 10,000 copies).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the app and its developer are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption. Our total liability for any claim relating to this app is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The latest version always appears here and in the app. Material changes will be highlighted in the app's What's New release notes. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.

9. Termination

You can stop using this app at any time by deleting it. We may discontinue the app or specific features in line with Apple's policies. If we discontinue Pro features you've already paid for via subscription, you may request a pro-rata refund through Apple. Lifetime purchases remain valid as long as the app is offered on the App Store.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the developer's country of incorporation, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where applicable law in your country gives you stronger rights — those continue to apply.
